The vision of this ministry is to equip the children to know God and who they are in Christ that they might worship and go into the presence of the Lord just like the adults.
It is a place of training them to flow in the same Holy Spirit that as the adults. It is our vision to see children worshiping, praying, preaching and prophesying now, not just when they get older. There is simple, powerful faith in a child's heart and God said unless we become a child we will not see the kingdom of God. We believe the children have much to offer the body of Christ.
Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is a brand new curriculum being developed and tested at The Altar IHOP for teaching children about the basics of loving God and who He is.
Stepping Stones: Love, the first in the series, is focused on leading children into a revelation of the house scripture Matthew 22.37-39
Jesus replied: " ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Stepping Stones: Faith, the second in the series, is currently being developed and we hope to be teaching this when our kids complete the first set of material.
